Formed in 2003, the Blazer Club provides supporters a way to contribute to UAB Athletics through scholarship giving that benefits Blazer student-athletes. In its inaugural year, the group reached its membership goals, and participation continues to grow.

"We're very excited about the Blazer Club and what its creation means," said UAB Athletic Director Brian Mackin, who oversees development and fund-raising for the athletics program. "The Blazer Club is extremely positive for UAB and is truly an organization committed to helping all of our student-athletes succeed."
